School Trip Impossible
About This Game
Sneak into your friends' rooms at a Japanese inn after lights out, without getting caught by the teacher on patrol. Take the stairs to reach other floors. 50 levels in all.
On a school trip night, after lights-out at the inn, you try to reach your friends' room. Walk to the room while avoiding the flashlight of the teacher on patrol in the hallway. On a phone, slide your finger on the pad at the bottom of the screen. On a PC, use the arrow keys. The teacher doesn't only walk down the hallway but sometimes stops to look left and right. Watch which way the light points, then pick your moment to step into the corridor.
You can hide from the teacher behind walls that block the line of sight or inside a closet. If you stay in the light, you'll be caught, but if you step out quickly, you can recover from nearly being spotted. When the room is on another floor, use the stairs. Stand near the stairs to see footprints showing how many teachers are near where the stairs lead. When your destination is off screen, you can follow the arrow at the edge of the screen. On the same floor, it points to the room, and on another floor, it points to the next stairs to use.
Each stage has a time limit, and the round ends when time runs out. When you reach the room, you score 10 times the remaining seconds, rounded up. If you arrive without ever nearly being spotted, you get 200 extra points. Decide whether to rush ahead or wait in a safe spot, and aim for all 50 stages. If you fail or quit partway through, you can restart from that stage.
How to play
Swipe the pad at the bottom of the screen to walk in that direction (use the arrow keys on a PC). If you step into a teacher's flashlight beam, you'll be caught. Hide in a closet to stay out of sight. Take the stairs to change floors. When you stand next to the stairs, footprints show how many teachers are near the other end. There are 50 rooms in all.
Tips
- It's safest to wait in the closet until the teacher walks past.
- If you step into the light, turn back right away and you might go unnoticed.
- When your target room is off screen, the arrow at the edge of the screen shows you which way to go.
- If the footprints by the stairs are red, a teacher is right there. Wait a moment before going up or down.
