Secret Number

About This Game

Guess the secret number of different digits 0-9. Each guess shows how many are Exact (right digit, right place) and Wrong spot (right digit, wrong place). Use the clues to solve it fast.

This is a deduction game where you guess a secret number made of different digits from 0 to 9. You can choose 3, 4, or 5 digits, and an answer can start with 0. You can't use the same digit twice in a guess, either. Build your guess with the on-screen number keys, fill in the chosen number of digits, then press "Enter."

After you submit a guess, you see how many are "Exact" and how many are "Misplaced." Exact means the digit and its position are both right. Misplaced means the digit is in the answer, but in a different position. It doesn't tell you which digits are right, so compare your earlier guesses and results to plan the next one. There's no limit on guesses, and when you get it right, you can go straight on to the next puzzle.

Tap "Memo," then tap a number to mark that key. The mark cycles through none, ✕, ○, and back to none. Use it to keep track of digits you think are out or in. Memo marks aren't used to check your answer, so use the results as clues and sort things out yourself.

Your records show your streak of correct answers, your average number of guesses, and your fewest guesses. With 4 digits, the fewer guesses you need, the higher your score, and you can compare in the rankings. Start with 3 digits to learn what the feedback means, then try 4 or 5 digits.

How to play

Tap the number keys to enter a guess, then press Enter. Exact means the digit and the place are both right. Wrong spot means the digit is in the number but in another place. You won't be told which digits are right. Guesses are unlimited, and you can start the next puzzle as soon as you solve one. Choose 3, 4 or 5 digits. Press Memo, then a digit, to mark it with ✕ or ○.
